Job Description:

DUTIES

Supervise persons on probation in the performance of community service projects.  Keep an accurate accounting of community service hours completed by each probationer.  Ensure the safety of community service workers while performing community service.  Keep track of and properly maintain all community service equipment.

 

This is a part time position that will require the chosen applicant to work from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon Monday through Friday, except for recognized county holidays, with an occasional Saturday for a total of 20-28 hours per week.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants should have a strong working knowledge of basic building maintenance and the use and maintenance of lawn equipment and other hand tools.

 

EDUCATION:

Interested candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.  Applicants must be physically able to work outside in varied weather conditions, including extreme heat, and prolonged standing may be required.  Background checks will be completed.
