Job ID: 08-003 DUTIES Receives reports by telephone or radio for public safety service; Determines the nature of requests for service, decides the proper priority and response code; Monitors radio traffic originating from other jurisdictions; Answers 911 telephones; Operates multi-purpose computer terminals interfaced with radio-telephone console and other computer systems; Monitors the status of field units to ensure officer safety and the availability for dispatch; Supplies information to other agencies, offices and to the public; Performs other related duties as required.
