The Johnson County Sheriff's Office Training Center has scheduled the training listed below. In an effort to defray the cost of materials, there will be a $50.00 fee for the Intermediate Courses; a $20.00 fee for Crisis Intervention Training and SFST training; for all other classes there will be a $15.00 fee unless otherwise stated. There is no charge to Johnson County employees or those agencies contributing instructors to this training program. There will be additions to this schedule as classes develop. · The Intermediate Crime Scene Search class will be instructed by Bill Yeager of Fort Worth P.D.; · An Intermediate Arrest, Search and Seizure class is being negotiated and will be instructed by Sgt. Eric Starnes with Euless P.D.; · The Intermediate Use of Force will be instructed by Lt. Gary Marquis with Somervell Co. S.O.; · The Intermediate Spanish Course will be instructed by Kathy Goldring;

Items highlighted above are going to be held in Somervell County Training Center This schedule will change as courses are added to the schedule dependent on availability of instructors and as the need for various courses may arise (Intermediate Core Courses, CPR Courses, etc.). Additional Correctional Classes may be scheduled as the availability of personnel increases.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Training Center is contracted by the Commission on Law Enforcement to provide training courses. Courses provided by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Training Center may be submitted to the commission for credit.
