Hours of Operation
|
Park opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. for Day Use. Check out for RV/tent sites is 2 p.m. Quiet time is 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. with the exception of Park employees and contractors performing work on behalf of the County and Park. Except for persons authorized to use camping areas, trailer space, shelters, boat ramp, or who have paid for overnight activity fees, entering into or remaining in the park between closing and opening hours is not allowed.

Things to Consider
|
- Due to the remote location of the Park, internet & cell phone service is limited.
- River levels change – call the Park about boat launching conditions.
- There is no concession stand or store at the Park at the present time.

Park Pavilions
|
The Park has two large and two medium size pavilions that are great for outdoor gatherings, birthday parties, family reunions, company picnics or even a wedding. The two large pavilions each have eighteen very large picnic tables, an electric outlet, and room for up to one hundred people. Both have huge barbecue pits, a water faucet nearby, and are conveniently located near restroom facilities.
The two medium-size pavilions accommodate up to twenty-five and each includes four picnic tables and a barbecue pit.These sites do not have electric or water but restrooms are nearby. If more electricity is needed for your event, consider bringing a gas generator.

General Information
|
- Campsite fees due at registration. If arriving after hours, fees are due by 9 a.m. the following morning.
- CHECK OUT TIME for Camp Sites is 2 P.M. or renew by 9 a.m. depending on availability.
- Valid permit is required on the windshield of each vehicle.
- For overnight camping availability call 817-556-9311
- Maximum of two tents or one RV and one tent per site and up to eight people if space permits. Do not block roads or sites.
- Day Use guests must leave the Park by 10 p.m.
- Excess parking fee is required at campsites with more than two vehicles (including trailers).
- It is prohibited to consume or display an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public except in the person's immediate camp site or to sell alcoholic beverages in the Park.
- Quiet time is from 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Excess noise and/or disturbing conduct are not permitted.
- Campsites must be kept clean. All litter must be disposed of in trash receptacles conveniently located throughout Park.
- Only one unit per site is permitted to hook up to utilities.
- GRAY WATER AND BLACK WATER MUST BE DISCHARGED ONLY AT DUMP STATION.
- All plants and wildlife are protected by law.
- No display or discharge of firearms or fireworks is allowed in the Park. No open fires when burn ban is in effect. No ground fires are permitted except in fire rings.
- Pets must be on a leash no longer than six feet and under control at all times. Pets are not allowed in buildings or on the beach. Pet owners must clean up after their pet.
- Gathering of firewood is prohibited.
- All terrain vehicles and dirt bikes may not be used in the Park, on or off the roadway. This prohibition does not apply to handicapped vehicles.
- SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. No lifeguard on duty.
- Do not block ramp area.
- No boat clean-up, fishing or swimming allowed in the ramp area.
- Speed limit in Park area is10 mph.
- Please watch for children and wildlife.
- Failure to comply with these rules may result in eviction from the Park.

Fishing Supplies
|
Wondering where to get that last minute fishing item? Rio Vista Hardware carries bobbers, lures, worms, shrimp, shad, frozen livers, nets, and fishing licenses -- among other things. Hours are 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., seven days a week. Less than ten minutes from the Park, the store is located at 811 N. Hwy 174 in Rio Vista near the FM 916 turn off.
