Biography

The Johnson County Precinct 4 Constable's Office is led by Constable Troy Fuller who elected to office in November 2020 and took office in January 2021.  Constable Fuller served at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office for 26 years until he retired in August of 2020.  Constable Fuller began his Law Enforcement career in August of 1983 in Florida, giving him 37 years of Law Enforcement experience.  The Precinct 4 Constables Office serves the citizens of Burleson, Joshua, Briar Oaks, Alvarado, Grandview, Venus, Coyote Flats and Cleburne. 

The Precinct 4 Constables Office is currently located in the Historic Courthouse in Downtown Cleburne.  The operational structure of the Constables Office performs a wide variety of law enforcement and civil functions including patrol, environmental enforcement and investigations, writs, warrant service, and courtroom security.

The Department's sworn law enforcement personnel included four sworn Peace Officers and three Reserve Peace Officers are carried as Deputy Constables. The Department provides safety and protection to its citizens via community based policing and pro-active law enforcement efforts.  In addition to normal patrol operations, the Constables Office conducts traffic enforcement in areas throughout Precinct 4 but also in areas where citizen complaints. are made. This is to make the roads and community safer for us all. The Constables Office also conducts investigations into Environmental Crimes that involve illegal dumping, and public nuisances which are cases that the initial focus is on resolving issues to gain compliance or to files cases within the justice system.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Constable's Office is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Precinct 4 by working collaboratively with area law enforcement, commissioner's court, our community, and to prevent crime, enforce the law, and target violent offenders for prosecution.  Our core responsibility is to embed ourselves within the community so that “together” we can serve as a resource to develop and strengthen community relations.

Our vision will be accomplished by implementing innovative and modernized law enforcement strategies that exceed the expectations of the citizens of Johnson County and Precinct 4.
